Menasha Corporation recently received the “Leadership Giving” award for its employees’ contributions to the 2022 United Way Fox Cities campaign. A “Leadership Giver” is someone who gives $1,000 or more, and Menasha Corporation had 65 employees giving $1,000+ for a total of $100,000, almost half of its employee giving total and nearly one sixth of its total campaign donation to the United Way Fox Cities.

“This is an incredible honor for Menasha Corporation, and we are so proud of our employees’ generosity and the impact it is having on people in the community,” said Mike Riegsecker, President, Menasha Packaging (a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation) and executive sponsor of Menasha Corporation’s United Way campaign.

In its 2022 United Way Campaign, Menasha Corporation raised nearly $660,000 through payroll giving, a match from the Menasha Corporation Foundation, the ‘Menasters’ golf outing and special fundraisers. This record-giving beat last year’s totals by more than 10%. These funds are used to support more than 100 programs, grants and initiatives through United Way partner agencies, such as the Diaper Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Catalpa Health, Pillars, Inc. and more.

“Our employees are eager to find ways to give back to the community and partnering with the United Way gives us the unique opportunity to not only give financially, but also get involved and volunteer at the many partner agencies who receive funding from the United Way,” said Kelly Ulmen, Senior HR Director, and co-chair of the Menasha Corporation United Way Committee.
