Menasha Packaging Announces Acquisition of the Strive Group

OCONOMOWOC, Wis…

ORBIS Corporation and Cartonplast LLC announced today a joint venture creating CORBI Plastics LLC.

CORBI Plastics, with its headquarters in DeForest, Wis., will manufacture plastic divider sheets and manage pools of plastic reusable pallets, top frames and divider sheets that protect food, beverage and industrial products during processing, storage and distribution. CORBI Plastics specializes in managing transportation complexities, facilitating the cleaning process and tracking pools of reusable packaging products in the supply chain.

This joint venture combines a broad product offering of plastic reusable products with cleaning, pooling and logistical expertise to provide a cost-efficient method to protect products as they move through the supply chain. Pooling can eliminate the upfront investment of purchasing plastic pallets, divider sheets and top frames by offering these products on a rental basis. It improves the flow of goods between supply chain partners, reduces product damage and decreases labor costs, allowing companies to focus on their core business.

Manufacturing for CORBI Plastics will take place in DeForest, Wis., with cleaning and service centers in Lafayette, Ind., and Houston, Tex.

CORBI Plastics can be reached at 608-846-2422.
