The Green Masters designation is awarded to the top 20 percent of Wisconsin companies that participate in the program, which scores each company in a variety of sustainability categories, including energy, carbon and other emissions, water, waste management, transportation, supply chain, community and educational outreach, workforce and governance. In 2017, more than 200 companies competed in the program.
